Who we are

This website is operated by 11BIO LLC (“11BIO”, “we” or “us”). 11BIO builds and operates industrial biochar plants that turn waste biomass into permanent carbon removal. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways.

Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, work email address, organization, country, the topic you choose and your message. When you register interest on the Investors page, we collect your name, email address, country of residence, investor type and, if you provide them, an indicative amount and a message. We also record that you agreed to be contacted.
Basic analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymous information about how this website is used, such as the pages visited, the time spent on them and the type of device and browser used. We do not use this information to identify you.

We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Why we use it

We use the information you give us to:

reply to your enquiry and put you in touch with the right person on our team;
send you the investment materials you have asked for and keep you informed about the investment round;
understand how this website is used so that we can improve it.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

Legal basis

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent when you tick the box on a form or accept analytics cookies, on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating this website, and on the steps needed to assess and prepare any agreement you ask us about. How long we keep it

We keep contact enquiries for as long as needed to respond to them and for a reasonable period afterwards. We keep investor interest registrations until the investment round they relate to has closed, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner. Analytics information is kept in aggregated form only.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run this website and respond to enquiries, such as hosting, email and form-handling providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We never sell personal information.

International transfers
